A fun, but relaxing weekend

It was so fun to have Mo and Zac up for the weekend. We always enjoy our time with them! Friday we made tacos and hung out at our house. Tommy really had fun playing with them too. Then we played wii sports, ddr and fishing. It was a fun night! Saturday we went to our local power company's customer appreciation day. We really wanted to let Tommy see a horse, but the trainer told us it was a gentle horse and we should throw him up there to see how he did. So, Tommy had his first horse ride! He loved it and kept leaning forward to pet the horse's back. It was so cute!

Brainerd has these Babe the Blue Ox statues painted by local artists all around the lakes area this summer. We have seen a few around, but this is the closest we have come to one, Tommy sure liked it!

We took Tommy home to nap and Mike made a fabulous breakfast burrito and bloody marys! Yum!!! We hung out around the house for the rest of the day, talking and playing. We went to Ernies for a lakeside dinner on the outside deck. We were heading for the pig races when a storm popped up canceling the races for the night. Boo, it turned out fine though since we went back home and had some drinks and played a little more wii.

He puts a lot of things in this toy, I caught him in the act of putting a nuk down it!

After they left on Sunday morning we went to my parents house to celebrate Fathers Day. Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers that we know! My parents made a prime rib which was excellent! What a great end to a great weekend!
