Happy Anniversary!

Tommy has a new playmate! My cousin Sara and her husband Scott welcomed a baby girl today. Her name is Caitlin and she is beautiful and healthy! Congrats guys!

Crash!

Since it has been so crazy with bugs at our house we have Tommy's car inside right now. He is really liking it and enjoys driving it around. But today we heard a crash and saw this...

I have no idea how he tipped it over, but he lay there and kicked his little legs waiting for Mike and me to come and rescue him!

He said "Help, crash!"

Today when we put Tommy down for a nap, he got quiet right away. I know most of you would think he fell asleep right away, but not our little boy! We went to check on him and this is what we saw...

It was super cute, but not what you want to see when it is naptime! He really loves looking out the window though!

Exciting News!!!

Tommy is going to be a big brother!!! We are super excited and looking forward to meeting our new little one. I am due the end of March and have been feeling great. The only thing is being tired which isn't too bad at all! We will keep you updated as the time goes by!

The Mall of America

Today we went to the Mall of America so Paige and Tommy could go on some rides. We thought it was a good way to let Tommy try out a few since he wasn't too fond of them last time!

He didn't know about them this time either!

Mike really wanted to try out this car ride! Only teasing, Tommy is actually in the car with him, you just can't see him!

Paige went on all the little kids rides with Tommy and Mike too!

Then Paige got to go on some rides for bigger kids!

At least someone enjoyed the rides!

On the Blues Clues ride Tommy was mad about having to wait in line, but then threw a fit when he was supposed to get on, so he ended up missing the ride. Poor Paige got stuck on the little kids ride by herself!



We went to lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. It ended up being a perfect choice for the kids. Tommy really enjoyed the gorillas making the noises, the fish tank and the thunderstorm!

He even got to meet the tree frog!

We had a great weekend and came home exhausted! Luckily we had Monday to recover and relax!

The MN State Fair

Today we got up early and headed down to the cities with my parents. We stopped and picked up Paige and headed to the MN State Fair. It was so crowded this year! We usually don't go on the weekends and I was reminded why! We saw animals, machinery hill and ate some good food. It was a fun trip and Tommy was really good the whole time. He stayed in his stroller without complaint and loved the animals and fish!

After the fair we met Amy at the hotel and Paige and Tommy played for a while. Then Amy and Paige left for a birthday party and we ran some errands and ate dinner. We went to the pool later and Paige, Tommy, Mike and Grandpa had a good time swimming! Tommy even borrowed someone's "snake", actually a noodle and played with that for a long time!

Thea's going away gathering

Tonight we headed down to Ernies to celebrate Thea's return to school with some family and friends. Tommy didn't really want to sit too long so he and Mike walked around on the dock, threw rocks in the lake and fed the ducks. They look like they had a good time! We wish Thea all the best as she heads to chiropratic school!!!

We hope everyone has a great Labor Day! We are off to the state fair on Saturday with Amy, Paige and my parents! It looks like the weather is going to cooperate.
