I have been naughty lately and I haven't been good about getting posts on here. I updated quite a few though in the past couple of days so feel free to look into some old posts. I know it seems silly to past date posts, but it is nice for us to keep a record of when things happened.
It has been so hot lately that I got a family sized pool for us to enjoy. It isn't huge, 10' by 6'. Perfect size for us to get in and cool off. Tommy hasn't been too keen on getting in it, but hopefully he will be better once the water warms up a little bit. It taked so much water that it is taking quite a while to warm up, even in the 90 degree weather!!!

Tommy's "bike"
Tommy loves the trike we got from the Wigs. They were getting rid of all their old stuff a few years ago so we snatched some things up! Tommy loves the "bike" and he is getting pretty good at using it. He doesn't use the pedals quite yet, but he is getting closer to being able to!

Happy Father's Day!!!
Happy Fathers Day to all of the great fathers we know!
Tommy and Daddy drew a lot of art with sidewalk chalk!

We went to church in the morning and Grandma Jo was there too so we sat by her. Tommy is getting a lot better about sitting through church and behaving! After church my Mom came over for breakfast and Dad joined us there shortly afterwards since he finished his game of golf pretty early. Then we headed over to Grandma Rosie's house to visit with Denise, Terry, Emily and Grandma Rosie. It was a nice afternoon and a nice visit with everyone.
My parents had us over for dinner tonight for Father's Day. They made steaks and they were delicious!!! Thanks guys!
Chris & Abby's Wedding
Tonight we went to Chris & Abby's wedding. It was a nice evening and Tommy had a great time playing on the swing set and running all around the area. It was an outdoor reception and there was a lot of space for the kids to play. It was funny watching him play with the kids his age and then try to keep up with the older kids too. Unfortunately my camera battery was dead when we got there so I don't have any photos. It was a beautiful reception though!

A day at the park!
Last night we had my parents and Paige over to our house for dinner. We had a good time and it was fun to watch the cousins play together. It is nice to spend as much time as possible with Paige while she is here!

Alright, maybe not the whole day spent at the park today, but we did have fun playing there! I had the day off, so Mom and I brought Paige and Tommy to the park to play. They had a really good time chasing each other through tunnels and across bridges!

Party at Grandma and Grandpa's!
This morning we went to our power companies annual picnic. It was breakfast, horse rides and games for the kids. Tommy wasn't as brave this year and didn't want a horse ride. After sitting on one and then quickly getting off he exclaimed to my parents and Laurie "Cow's big!"
Tonight we went over to my parents house again for dinner! Laurie, Jeff, Katie & Becca were all there as well and it made for a very fun night! Tommy had a great time playing with all the girls all night!

Here is the delicious burgers my parents made. It was peppercorn crusted, topped with blue cheese crumbles, cheddar cheese, onion rings and blue cheese dressing! Yummy!!!

A fun night with Paige!
Tonight we brought pizza over to my parents house for dinner so we could spend more time with Paige! The pizzas were delicious. Tommy and Paige got to play outside a little bit and then we played more inside. Paige loves playing catch and we all got to play with her. Tommy loves following Paige around and wants to be just like his cousin!
Paige is here!
Paige is in town and staying at my parents house until Tuesday! After picking her up they came over to our house so Paige and Tommy could see each other. They had so much fun playing together! It is good to have her here and we are looking forward to spending lots of time with her!

Julie's birthday celebration
Tonight we went to my Grandma's for dinner to celebrate my Aunt Julie's birthday. It was a fun group with my Mom, Kim & Jim, Laurie, Jeff, Katie & Becca and Julie & JP. We had fun visiting with everyone and Tommy got to pop bubbles and draw on the driveway with chalk so he was thrilled. He had fun playing with JP, Katie & Becca too. Happy Birthday Julie!

While Mom was away

On Sunday evening Mike made a delicious London broil and horseradish mashed potatoes for dinner. We invited my parents over and my Mom brought wedding cake that she made as a sample for a friend and another chocolate cake with a bunch of goodies in it. Yummy! It was nice to come home and not have to worry about anything!

Amy's Bachlorette Party
My sister is getting married on July 11th and this weekend we had her bachlorette party. It was great! We all had a lot of fun. We started the afternoon by going to the Mall of America and getting our shoes for the wedding. We were able to make a few other stops there too. Then it was back to the hotel for some drinks and getting ready to go out.

The bride!
Then we were off to dinner at Chino Latino. I haven't been there in ages and so I was looking forward to their delicious food!

Looking forward to a fun weekend!
We haven't been doing too much lately. Just playing outside between rain storms and trying to keep Tommy entertained. Tomorrow I am heading down to Minneapolis for my sister's bachlorette party. It should be a fun night! Tonight we went over to my parents house for dinner. The boys had copper river salmon and loved it! Mom and I had delicious steaks. It was a nice evening and Tommy had a lot of fun playing with his Grandparents!
Here are a few shots of some flowers I cut out of my yard. I love flowers and it is even better when they are from your own gardens!

Impromptu Smoking Gathering
Let me clarify by smoking we mean smoking meat. On Saturday night we decided to smoke some ribs and a pork roast. Everything turned out delicious! We had Jeff and Laurie and my parents over and I think everyone had a good time! Laurie brought a fabulous salad and a yummy cranberry pie and my Mom brought over one of our favorite potato dishes and some veggies. We enjoyed the food and some beverages while Katie and Becca played with Tommy. What a fun evening, we can't wait to do it again!

No baby backs left, but a few spare ribs and some of the pork roast.
The pile of bones left behind!
