Let the celebrations begin!

This weekend Amy and Paige came to town to celebrate my birthday. I realize it was a little early, but I am willing to stretch it out if needed!

A few photos...

Here are some photos taken last night and this morning.

Smiling for the camera, but looking at Dad
His favorite thing to do with his jumparoo now is to...

crawl under it...or...

stand on the outside of it to play with the toys!

Happy Birthday to you!

Happy Birthday Zac!!! We hope you have a great day! We miss you tons, but look forward to seeing you in a couple months!

Just wanted to update everyone, Tommy's second tooth broke through shortly after his first one, so both of his bottom teeth are on their way. Our whole household started feeling sick on Sunday night, so we have been lying low and trying to get well all week. I think we are starting to see a lot of improvements today, so hopefully we will have a good weekend with lots of photos to post soon! I hope no one else gets this crap that's going around. Scratchy throats, runny noses, sneezing, not fun...

Happy Easter!!!

First things first...

On Friday night Natalie and Allison came over to play with Tommy and also play a little wii with us. Cindy stopped by to give Tommy his Easter present. He got an adorable outfit and a Looney Toones movie. We love them both!!!

Natalie, Tommy and Allison, at first he was a little confused why there were two of the same people!

Saturday morning before I left for work we decided to take some photos of our little Easter bunny! What a cute bunny!

He must take after his dad, he wanted the peanut butter cup eggs!

Bunny with his basket!

He really liked his plastic eggs, even though they were empty!

They were hard to hold onto though!

After I got off work we went to eat dinner at my parents house. They got back on Friday night and had a wonderful trip!

He didn't know about the texture though, so he didn't eat too much of it.

He really enjoyed pounding on the piano

Today we went to Church early, then to Caribou for a quick coffee with my parents. We went to Cathy and Craigs this afternoon for Easter lunch. There were quite a few people there and we really had fun visiting with everyone. Tommy really likes his cousin JP and wanted to hug him all the time. He also liked Camden and Rylan and all the other kids that were there!

Cuddling with Grandpa Steve!

He looks like he is getting into trouble!

After we got home Tommy spent some time in the walker that Kathy from work lent me. He is learning to use it better every day and really likes it!

Here are some videos of him in the walker and climbing the table.

We hope everyone had a fun filled weekend, we sure did!!!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! We are headed to the Feierabends along with 30 other family members for a feast! I think my aunt Cathy said they have 29 pounds of meat, including pork roast, beef roast and ham! There will be a lot of boys around Tommy's age there so it should be a fun day!

Happy Easter!!!

I am off today, but I had a few errands so Tommy went to daycare for a little while. Here is a photo of all the boys at daycare. From left Aiden, John, Sam, Tommy and Simon!

Have a great Easter weekend, we will post photos from the festivities soon!

We got a climber!

It was inevitable, but it just happened so fast. Last night I had a meeting, but Mike saw a little hand on the coffee table, then another, pretty soon he was standing by it! He also climbed onto his bouncy chair, with Mike there supervising to see just what he was up to, and ended up standing on the seat with his hands on the back rocking! What a crazy kid! Needless to say, the bouncy chair is now up unless we want to throw him in it to get something done. All these milestones are coming so fast now, it is hard to keep up with all of them. He is getting so big!

Tommy's First Tooth

That's right, our little boy's first tooth finally broke through. I could see the little white bump on his gums all weekend and it finally made an appearance yesterday! Now he will be able to chew his grilled cheese better. He had it for the first time on Friday and he loves it! He really wants to try our food much more than his own so we have been letting him try it and he really likes most things.

Last night we had a great St. Patrick's Day dinner with Grandma Rosie and Tommy's Godparents Bill and Cindy. It was a fun night and we even had a green beer!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Tommy is a little Irish, so he asked for this hat for St. Patty's Day. How can you tell that little face no? So we begrudgingly said yes and took some photos of him in it. Alright, we really were the ones who wanted it, are we mean parents???

Our little leprechaun

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Kiss Me I'm Irish!

Someone got his pot of gold!

Tonight we are going to dinner to celebrate with Grandma Rosie and Cindy, maybe Bill too. We will miss my parents but they are enjoying themselves on a cruise right now!

Have a great Saint Patrick's Day!!!

A Great Weekend

We headed down to the cities on Saturday morning bright and early. The best time to travel is when Tommy is taking his nap. The first stop was for Greenie mix so we headed for Northeast Minneapolis.
The bar where Greenies originated, a hole in the wall!

Home of the Greenie sign

Then it was off to St. Paul to Northern Brewer. It is a store full of beer brewing products and ingredients. We left with two beer kits, Raspberry Wheat and Honey Weizen. Good summer beers!

Then we met up with Kel at Bread and Chocolate to feed Tommy and visit. It was nice to see her. Tommy sure flirted with her and gave her a huge hug when we left!

After that we met Amy, Paige and Brian at Chilis for lunch. I forgot to get photos. Shoot! It was nice to see them and Tommy sure loves Paige! He kept playing with her, trying to hug her and everything! After that we ran some errands until it was time to get to Blaine.

It was interesting to be back where Mike and I used to work and met! We saw some old friends and got to show off Tommy! Here are some photos of him stretching out in the locker room before the wedding started. He really needed to move around and play so it was the perfect spot!

Practicing his yoga!

He still loves to read!

A half grin for Mom

Climbing over Dad

He is quite the mover!

I didn't get any photos at the wedding either. I have my good and bad moments! It was beautiful though. Lots of bright pink roses with limes as accents. Great food, great company and a huge conratulations to Jami and Alex!

Today we relaxed at home and played a ton! We will post photos of St. Patty's day soon!
