Bye bye highschool hair...

Before

And After

It was a long overdue haircut. She took off 10 inches quite happily! I really like it and I am looking forward to the shorter blow dry time!

A great weekend

Thursday night I picked up Tommy and went home to relax after a busy day and not too much sleep the night before. Tommy was happy to cuddle (and fall asleep) with me!
Tommy and Mom cuddling, he was very relaxed!

Getting ready to crawl!

I had Saturday off so we hung out in the morning and played a little bit. He is done relaxing in his swing, he still likes it for a little while, but as you can see he is very busy!

Sitting up in his swing

He got his nuk in, just upside down!

We went to lunch with Tina, Mike and Haley. It was very nice to visit with them and we are looking forward to doing it again soon!

Then we went to Ernie's with my parents and Grandma Rosie to celebrate my Mom's birthday and her successful surgery. It was a lot of fun even though it was packed in there. Tommy decided to wear his cowboy outfit and he looked very handsme in it!

We also got him a Johnny Jump Up because he loves his jumparoo so much and tried that out after we got home. He seemed to like it!

Jumping

He can really get some air!

Today we took advantage of my parent's offer to babysit and went to 27 Dresses. We both really enjoyed it and our time out together although it was nice to get back to see our boy! It was a very nice weekend!

Many thanks!

Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers that you sent my Mom's way, they definitely worked. Her surgery went well and had great results. Keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery!

Chilly morning...

I can't wait for this cold streak to end. Especially the wind. Brr! Here are some photos of Tommy from this morning. He is all cozy in a fleece outfit. He is fitting nicely into 12 month clothes now. I can't believe how fast he is growing! It is crazy!

Also, please say a prayer for my Mom today. She is having surgery. Thanks!

6 Month Doctor Appt

Tommy had a good appointment. The Doctor was impressed with his developments and said he is right where we want him to be height and weight wise. He is now 28 inches long, 90%, and 19.6 pounds, 80%. That means our scale is over by about a pound. Good to know I guess. Other than that not too much else was said. He had to get two shots and he wasn't very happy about that so we cuddled on the couch all afternoon. That was nice for me since he doesn't always cuddle anymore!

Little Tommy

Earlier this winter I went to St. Thomas looking for a "Little Tommy" shirt but they didn't have one. I was so sad. Since I was already all the way down there I decided I had to get him something so I picked up this sweatshirt. It looks really cute on him! So here is my little Tommy!!!

We will post again later after his doctors appointment!

Little Packer Fan

First we have this photo of Tommy sleeping still
holding onto his nuk by a hair.

The next photos were taken before the Packer game. He was all ready to cheer all day long, but it just didn't help...

Showing off how good he looks in his jersey, thanks Blume boys!!!

He was very excited for the game!

He actually loves to watch football, maybe it is all the action.

Watching the Patriots beat the Chargers with Dad.

Go Packers!

He really loves his jump-a-roo now! He goes crazy in it jumping and jumping. If only they had one in my size, it looks like a fun way to exercise!

Tomorrow he has his six month appointment so we will see just how accurate the scale at home really is!!!

New Daycare

All bundled up ready to face the freezing temperatures!

Tommy started at a new daycare last week and I am happy to report that everything is going very well. He really likes it and there are a lot more kids closer to his age so I am sure he will have fun playing there! It ended up being a good move!

We hope everyone has a good day!!!

The scale doesn't lie... or does it???

Tommy has been trying out his sippy cup. He gets water in it and he really seems to like it, so much that he won't release his grip on it. He does manage to get all wet though, he isn't used to drinking water yet!

We decided to throw Tommy on the scale tonight to see approximately how much he weighs. I know it isn't exact, but the scale says 20.5 pounds! What a big boy!!! We will see how close we are next Tuesday at his 6 month appointment!

Happy 6 Month Birthday!!!

It is hard to believe that Tommy is already 6 months old! Time really flies by! We had a busy weekend. Amy, Paige and Brian came up to celebrate my Mom's birthday on Saturday. We had pizza and played games, it was a really fun night. Tommy really has fun with Paige too! Mike was also very happy to see the Packers advance. Then we went to lunch today with Mom, Dad, Amy, Paige, Brian and Grandma Rosie because it was her birthday yesterday! We had a very nice visit and Tommy loves seeing everyone!

Here are some photos we took tonight!

He is a very smart boy and loves to read!

What a big boy!

Tommy is such a big boy, he sits all by himself! He has really been into standing and not wanting to sit, so we had to work with him a little bit and now he sits very well! We are so proud of him!!!

Please notice the beautiful blanket that my great friend Monique made for him. It is the first blanket she has ever made with initials in it!
We love it Mo!!!!

Enjoying the warm weather

First here are some photos from the other night, Tommy was ready for bed but was really giggly!

We decided to take Tommy outside to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather we have been having. I don't know if he really had too much fun or not. To be fair he was ready for a nap at the time!

First we took him sledding around the yard.

Then he wanted to make his first snow angel, so we let him!

Standing in the snow!
Telling Daddy that it was time to go in!
